Regular followers of Book Aid International will know we were at the 2011 London Book Fair earlier this week. It was great to see so many of the publishers who do so much to support our work. We also hosted a seminar on some of the challenges and opportunities that sub-Saharan Africa faces in the age of digital publishing.
Will the expense of hardware leave them further behind? Or will better access to content make things far better? These were some of the themes that we explored. Unfortunately we had to turn some visitors away for health and safety reasons, because the room was getting so full.
