Would you like to join us for World Book Night?

As World Book Day comes to a close for another year,  we’re not really finished with celebrating books just yet. Least of all everyone here at Book Aid International.

So we’re having a World Book Night Party on Saturday 05 March!

We’ve teamed up with Southwark Library Services and World Book Night to present an evening of book-giving, readings, live music, two giant book sculptures and a reading and Q&A session from our special guest Alexander Masters, author of Stuart: A Life Backwards.

And we would love it if you could come along too.

Celebrations start at 5pm and close at 10pm at John Harvard Library, Borough High Street, South London SE1 1JA

Thanks to Southwark Library Services and help from World Book Night you will most probably leave the event with a book in hand, new literary friends and a warm glow from a drink or two and the knowledge that for every £2 you donate throughout the night another book will be put into the hands of someone who really needs it.

Reservations are not necessary but should you need more information please contact Anne Race.
